I am so privileged to Pastor such a wonderful group of people. Upon my initial arrival at the St. John Ministry, I was going through a very trying time in my life. But how many know that when you are at your wits end, God seems to have a people somewhere who will see you for who God has called you to be and not what you have done. Let me take this time to say "THANK YOU and I LOVE YOU" to the family of God. I thank you for your hunger, your obedience, your support, your prayers, the challenges as well as the triumphs. We have seen many come and go but I believe "THE BEST IS YET COME." I pray that as we continue as a family that we will forever allow God to be God in and through our lives. May God richly bless each of you!
~from Pastor John T. Brown~

It gives me great pleasure to share some words about my church. I am truly proud to be member of St. John and to be under the leadership if John T. Brown. Every Pastor had their season but the season now is Rev. John T. Brown and where our motto can truly be of honesty and truth where somebody is everybody. There is a place and time in our lives that we come to that we sometimes feel unloved, unworthy, and seems like no one cares and I can truly and honestly say that I was at that place but in and under a strong leadership that God who is the head placed under Him and through the working and death of Christ Jesus that there is a somebody in everybody and that through love, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, chastisement, pain, suffering, along with God’s grace and mercy we can emerge as the somebody that God has ordained each and everyone of us to be. Perfection we will never be in this lifetime but striving to be is something that we can all do as children if God with confidence in knowing that who the world says we are does not matter it’s who in the eye sight of our Father sealed by our big brother Jesus says we are. If you are in a place where you feel nobody cares or understands or you feel beyond forgiveness come unto Jesus and the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Inc. where everybody is somebody!!!

As I sit and ponder of what I can say about my church the St. John Missionary Baptist Church. The only words that come to mind are TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY FOR THE GREAT & MARVELOUS THINGS HE'S DOING IN THE LIVES OF HIS PEOPLE. For I'm reminded of the scripture Isaiah 40:31 that says "BUT those who WAIT ON THE LORD shall renew their strength" and Psalm 40:1 says "I/WE WAITED PATIENTLY FOR THE LORD and HE inclined to me/US and heard my/OUR cry." The Lord has given us the strength to make it and the ability to take it when we were not the popular ones BUT we are the ones that know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF THEM THAT LOVE THE LORD AND ARE CALLED "ACCORDING TO" HIS PURPOSE. So I THANK YOU LORD FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE & ARE DOING FOR US. To my Apostle I LOVE YOU WITH THE LOVE OF JESUS. I Thank GOD daily for you and for what He's doing in your life. Thanks for all the teaching and training you give us. May He continue to give you the wisdom and knowledge to lead and guide us in the way that we should go. PEACE & BLESSINGS TO YOU. To my church family I LOVE YOU ALL & MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL REAL GOOD.
